Anne Phillips participated in a week-long tourism product development charette in March 2003 to help envision a sustainable tourism industry in Guyana, South America. Anne joined a local and international team of designers, planners, community tourism experts, government and NGO representatives, and local community members to develop strategic and physical plans for three important sites in the country, the Rupununi Savannah, Kaieteur National Park, and historic Georgetown.
